The Anchorage is a contemplative
ministry, inviting men and women from all faith traditions to “Come Away . . .
Anchor Deep.”

The Anchorage Directors spent a year
prayerfully listening and discerning together who we are – “The Anchorage is
an ecumenical ministry providing contemplative settings for encounters with
God.”

With this clarity, we created an
Awareness Plan with strategic initiatives to increase local, regional and
national awareness of this counter-cultural ministry that gives hope to a
world in need of healing and peace.

Two new initiatives rose to the top:
serving quarter-life crisis men and women (30-something’s who are seeking an
authentic encounter with God) and caregivers, especially clergy, who
professionally and/or personally are caring for the needs of others.

Dedicated ministry space (both program
and office) will enhance our ability to serve these groups and others who
thirst for something Real.

It is the responsible thing to do, to
build an ongoing, solid funding base so that this contemplative ministry
called The Anchorage can continue to offer opportunities for life-giving
experiences to all who long for God.

combined the expected cost of these new initiatives with our ongoing needs and
now
present our three year financial goal to you, with hopes that you will be
